When it comes to the state baseball playoffs, the beginning signals the end.

The one-and-done portion of the season means some teams eliminated from the state tournament will soon be packing up the equipment until 2019.

Except for some rained-out games, the regular season is drawing to a close. With that in mind, NJ.com unveils its final list of Conference Pitchers and Hitters of the Week for games played between May 14 and May 20.

The group of players managed to stay hot even in the pouring rains last week.
