Houston Astros star Jose Altuve to make appearance in Corpus Christi

Houston Astros all-star second baseman Jose Altuve will make an appearance in Corpus Christi on Nov. 20 at Whataburger Field to help raise money for the Buccaneer Commission Scholarship Fund.

The event is being dubbed "Under the Lights with Jose Altuve" and will take place from 6:30-9 p.m. at Whataburger Field. The scholarships benefit students who attend Texas A&M-Corpus Christi and Del Mar College that study science, technology, engineering and math. 

The event costs $750 per table of 10. For more information contact the Buccaneer Commission at 361-882-3242.
