Trojans go 4-1 at Gettysburg Duals

GETTYSBURG, Pa. — Chambersburg defeated Palmyra (63-0), Red Lion (55-12), Big Spring (50-22) and Biglerville (52-22) before falling to host Gettysburg (37-23) on Saturday.

Seven Trojans finished undefeated: Karl Shindledecker (5-0, five pins), Luke Mentzer (5-0, four pins), Rylan Carter (5-0, four pins), Zach Evans (5-0, two pins), Anthony Colangelo (5-0), Tate Nichter (4-0, two pins) and Ethan Faytol (3-0, three pins). Ryder Davenport was 4-1 with two pins, and Aiden Hight went 3-1 with three pins.

Greencastle-Antrim 50, West Perry 19

GREENCASTLE, Pa. — Lauren Pool had 13 points and eight rebounds, and Haley Noblit added 11 points, six steals and six assists in the Blue Devils’ victory Friday night.

Sayge Wilhide had nine points and six steals, and Mia Libby added eight points, seven rebounds, four assists and two blocks for Greencastle (2-0), which held West Perry to nine points through the first three quarters.

Cumberland Valley 57, Chambersburg 40

MECHANICSBURG, Pa. — Jill Jekot scored 18 points and Natalie Parsons added 15 points to lead Cumberland Valley past the Trojans in the Mid-Penn Commonwealth on Friday night.

Robyn Stepler led Chambersburg (0-3, 0-2) with 13 points, making four 3-pointers. Marlee Wrights scored eight.

Greencastle-Antrim 68, West Perry 22

ELLIOTTSBURG, Pa. — Riley Gembe scored 15 points and Adam Murr added 10 points to lead the Blue Devils to victory Friday night.

JT English, Conner Wright and Tim Ehko each scored eight points for Greencastle (3-0, 2-0 Mid-Penn Colonial), which built a 46-11 halftime lead.

Cumberland Valley 59, Chambersburg 40

CHAMBERSBURG, Pa. — Ben Drury scored 12 points, Max Krevsky added 10 points and 11 players scored for Cumberland Valley in Friday night’s Mid-Penn Commonwealth victory over the Trojans.

Gus Mace made five 3-pointers to score a team-high 15 points for Chambersburg (0-2, 0-2).
