Darshan to entertain Kannadigas of Bahrain this Ugadi

Kannadigas of Bahrain will celebrate the upcoming Ugadi (New Year) with an entertainment programme called ‘Ramee Rasa Sanje-2013’ this April 5. Sandalwood star Darshan is said to be the main attraction of the show.
The evening will also feature performances by well-known playback singers from Karnataka – Anuradha Bhat and Hemanth Kumar, while Gopi will entertain the audience with his mimicry and rib-ticking humour. Anupama Bhat, a well-known face on TV channels, and Bahrain’s “Kasturi Kamal” show fame Kamalaksha Amin will anchor the event.
The event, which is being hosted by the Indian Club and Namma Kannada Bahrain in association with Baron Management Co, follows the successful Ramee Rasa Sanje that was organised last year for more than 20,000 people from Karnataka who are living in Bahrain.
Austin Santhosh and Kamalaksha Amin told a Bahrain newspaper, “It’s going to be a wholesome show for the entire family. There will be music, comedy and other entertaining side shows to cater to the young as well as the old."
