Giant panda doesn't care for upsets, picks Auburn over UCF in Peach Bowl

We don’t need Vegas to tell us who’s going to win the Chick-fil-A Peach Bowl on New Year’s Day. We have Yang Yang – a giant panda at Zoo Atlanta – although he did agree with Vegas on this one.

For the second year, 20-year-old panda – who is partial to the scents of Tabasco and lavender – made his pick for which team will win the New Year’s Six bowl game between Auburn and Central Florida, and he doesn’t see an upset here. Yang Yang picked the Tigers, who are 9.5-point favorites.

According to Kenn Harwood, assistant curator of mammals at Zoo Atlanta, Yang Yang correctly picked Alabama to win the Peach Bowl last year, and he’s now trying to move to 2-0.

After picking Auburn, Yang Yang then adorably played with the box. Here’s another video of him…
