REDONDO BEACH, CA — The Fun Factory in Redondo Beach, which closed in October, is holding an online auction starting at noon this Saturday and Sunday to sell off remaining equipment and decor. The auction will include arcade and carnival games, signs, antique souvenirs, memorabilia and more, according to the auction listing.

The Fun Factory's last day was Oct. 13, and after 47 years it was an end of an era for the Redondo Beach Pier.

On the last day the arcade was open, Steve Shoemaker, who first opened the Fun Factory in 1972, made spontaneous deals and auctioned off video games and signs, the Daily Breeze reported.
