STATEN ISLAND, N.Y. -- The city Police Department is asking for the public’s help in their search for two unidentified men who are wanted for questioning in connection with a non-fatal shooting and assault on Memorial Day.

The assault happened at about 8:15 p.m. on Memorial Day on the 200 block of Steuben Street, Concord, according to police.

A man approached the two victims, ages 19 and 20, who were standing in front of a building, and then fired a gun, striking the 19-year-old man in his left arm and the 20-year-old man in his left leg, police said.

The suspects fled the location on foot, said police.

The two men wanted for questioning were caught on surveillance video.

The first man wanted for questioning was described by police as a dark-skinned-male, approximately 18 to 20 years old, with a slim build. He was last seen wearing all black clothing and a blue surgical face mask, according to police.

The second man was described by police as a dark-skinned-male, approximately 18 to 20 years old, with a slim build. He was last seen wearing a light-colored hoodie sweater, red sweat pants, white sneakers and a blue surgical face mask, said police.
