Meals on Wheels

Meals on Wheels delivers a hot meal Monday through Friday to Somerset, Edie, Quecreek, Acosta, Gray, Jennerstown, Jenners, Jenner Crossroads, Ferrellton, Boswell, Jerome, Thomas Mills, Stoystown, Kantner, Hooversville, Friedens, Geiger, Listie, Roxbury, Brotherton, Berlin, Macdonaldton, Davidsville, Seanor, Carpenter Park, Tire Hill, Hollsopple, Old Somerset Pike, Lavansville and Rockwood.

St. Pete's Catholic Church in Somerset and the good people of the community will provide desserts for the week of May 10-14.

Monday — Salisbury steak, rice, Mexican corn, Russian beet salad, dessert; homemade soup, peanut butter sandwich, pineapple, raisins

Tuesday — pork, yams, green beans, tossed salad, dessert; homemade soup, chicken salad sandwich, mandarin oranges, apples

Wednesday — fish, beets, cornbread, coleslaw, dessert; homemade soup, peanut butter sandwich, mandarin oranges, bananas

Thursday — chicken, scalloped potatoes, mixed vegetables, creamed cucumbers, dessert; homemade soup, egg salad sandwich, apricots, melon

Friday — roast turkey and gravy, stuffing, green beans, carrot-raisin salad, dessert; bread, peaches, oranges
