A 16-year-old boy and his mother were seriously injured Wednesday afternoon when the car they were in collided with a tow truck near the intersection of 50th Street and Avenue A.

DALLAS - Tax liens totaling $18.2 million and providing for the seizure of Dallas Garland Airport have been filed against a Mexican family of Monterrey by the district office of the Internal Revenue Service.

U.S. Pacific Fleet Headquarters, Pearl Harbor - Adm. Raymond A. Spruance's warships joined Vice Adm. Marc A. Mitscher's carrier groups in shelling and bombing Guam Friday - extending assaults on that former U.S. outpost through the 11th straight day.

The Idalou Canning Club met Tuesday afternoon June 24 at the home of Mrs. J.C. Morris. Miss Halsey wand Miss Craddock were with us. Miss Halsey demonstrated cottage cheese making. Miss Craddock made oat meal cookies, which we all enjoyed.
