Dehradun: Forest officials rescue 15 baby king cobras from local electrical shop

Forest officials rescued 15 baby king cobras from a local electrical shop at Uttarakhand’s Dehradun on July 19. The litter of snakes was discovered when Sumit Kumar, the shop owner at Banjarawala area, noticed two to three snakes come out of a hole inside his shop. Upon investigating, he realised that there were many other hiding inside the hole. He immediately informed forest authorities, who came and rescued the snakes. After rescuing all 15 snakes, the team released them into a nearby forest area.
