Conclusion
Pomegranate supplementation may be helpful in reducing blood pressure or enhancing antioxidant activity in patients who do not have a related allergy or contraindication. It may play a beneficial role in reducing stress-induced ischemia and in the treatment of hyperlipidemia. Additional investigation is needed to support its efficacy and determine its optimal dosage.
