Among the many things missing from 2020 was the Vermont Life wall calendar.

When Vermont Life magazine shut down two years ago, its 2019 wall calendars were already in production and became its last hurrah. The popular calendars featured idyllic images of Vermont's landscape.

The good news is that a number of alternatives are available. If you're already looking toward 2021, here are some of the options for making plans:

Amazing Vermont calendars

Charlotte photographer Jonathan Hart is creating Amazing Vermont calendars "in the style and spirit of products formerly sold by Vermont Life," according to a news release.

There's a wall calendar with a variety of views, as well as one focused entirely on Vermont barns.

Vermont Living calendars

Vermont Living calendars look and feel similar to Vermont Life, even down to the font and color choices.

Calendars for 2021 are already being sold, including locally at the Shelburne Country Store.

Sabra Field attended a retrospective of her work at the Frog Hollow Vermont State Craft Center on Church Street in Burlington in 2012.

Chris Mazzarella calendars

Bradford-based artist and photographer Chris Mazzarella recently announced that his unique Vermont prints are featured in 2021 calendars sold at Frog Hollow on Church Street in Burlington.
