CLOVIS, N.M. (KRQE) – A Clovis dairy is suing the federal government over water contamination near Cannon Air Force Base.
Art and Renee Schaap, who own Highland Dairy, claim firefighter foam contaminated their cows’ water supply, which reduced milk production. They also say the military did not inform them about the contamination even though they knew about it.
The owners are seeking damages.
