- Norway’s Petroleum Safety Authority says it will investigate a naphtha leak that halted production yesterday from Statoil’s (STO -0.5%) Mongstad refinery, the company's largest.
- The leak caused a temporary evacuation of the 240K bbl/day refinery on Norway’s west coast, which processes crude oil from Troll and other offshore fields.
- The refinery remains partly shut, and it is not clear when it could return to normal operations.
