Love Island viewers weren’t impressed after Danica Taylor was shown a montage of her rejections during the last Aftersun episode of series 8 on Sunday night.

The dancer, who was dumped from the villa along with Jamie Allen in scenes that aired on the ITV2 dating show last week, was pied six times over the course of her journey.

First, Danica was given brush off by Luca Bish, then Jacques O’Neill, closely followed by Davide Sanclimenti, and Andrew Le Page, before Jay Younger and Josh Samuel Le Grove.

Eventually, however, she found a connection with Jamie, and the pair are enjoying continuing their romance on the ‘outside’.

Danica sat through a compilation video of her rejections during Aftersun, with the clips set to the Mission Impossible theme.

Ahead of the footage playing, presenter Laura Whitmore told the former islander: ‘You were a woman on a bit of a mission, take a look at this.’

While Danica seemed unbothered by the video, viewers at home were left with a sour taste in their mouths.

‘The fact that they showed Danica’s failed moments as best bits got me super mad when we all know she had amazing moments like teaching everyone to twerk, Harry Potter references, amazing moments with her bestie Indiyah,’ one fumed.

‘She looked so uncomfortable watching it.’

Echoing a similar sentiment, another said: ‘Can they not show Danica’s actual best bits? Like don’t embarrass her with the rejections it’s so unkind.’

‘That clip was NOT Danica’s best bits!! Rejection after rejection compilation is not someone’s BEST bits!!!’ blasted a third.

Before Aftersun’s final episode, Paige Thorne and Adam Collard were dumped from the Love Island villa.

As they rolled their suitcases away, Paige said: ‘We’re happy and there’s no hard feelings whatsoever with the other islanders.’

Adam then said flattering his love interest: ‘I’ve got the best girl.’

Love Island airs tonight at 9pm on ITV2.
