CHAPEL HILL, N.C. — Rootle, UNC-TV's PBS KIDS channel, will host a fun and free event for families later this month.
Rootle's Block Party Live! is 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., Saturday, Aug. 24, at University Place in Chapel Hill.
Sid the Science Kid, Peg + Cat and Arthur will visit. The day also includes performances from local groups including Kidznotes, The Feeling Friends and others.
There also will be some hands-on activities, plus free admission to Kidzu Children's Museum during the event. Kidzu also is inside University Place.
Sounds like fun, especially for little ones who love their PBS KIDS! University Place is at 201 S. Estes Dr., Chapel Hill.
