A magnitude 4.1 earthquake was recorded Tuesday morning near Pinnacles National Park, the U.S. Geological Survey said.

The quake, at 9:09 a.m., was centered along Highway 25 about 7 miles from the park’s visitors center.

Early reports to the USGS Did You Feel It webpage came from Hollister, Salinas, Monterey and Santa Cruz.

It was the second-largest quake in California this month, according to USGS records. A 4.4 was recorded Thursday barely a mile from the Nevada line near Walker, in Mono County.
