Gingerbread House Decorating Contest: Kits will be available for pickup from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Dec. 4-5 from Artists' Exchange, 50 Rolfe Square, Cranston. Time slots must be reserved to pick up a kit. Participants will receive a graham cracker construction kit that includes frosting, cereal, extra crackers and candy and will upload a picture of their creation for judging. Prizes include gift certificates towards classes in the upcoming winter season. Kits are $10 per house. Registration is required at artists-exchange.org.

Dec. 4

Fireside Christmas Concert: 6 p.m. Linden Place Mansion, 500 Hope St., Bristol. Michael DiMucci will perform. The concert will take place in a heated tent with performances of classical numbers and Christmas standards. Reservations are requested by calling 253-0390 or visiting lindenplace.org.

Dec. 5

Open house: 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Rondeaus Kickboxing, 609 Killingly St., Johnston. Rhode Island Holiday Light Show: 5 p.m. Thursdays-Sundays, Nov. 19 through the end of December. The show will feature dozens of displays spread over the course of a 1-mile driving trail. Attendees can expect to take about 20-25 minutes to drive through the show in its entirety. Light displays will be synchronized with holiday music broadcast over the FM radio. The Autism Project webinar trainings: The Autism Project will feature four webinar trainings this summer on demand through its website. Alzheimer’s Association virtual support groups: Virtual support groups sponsored by the Alzheimer’s Association will include ones for caregivers living at home with their loved one with a diagnosis, caregiver wellness, early stage social engagement, middle stage caregivers, legal and financial questions, and general telephone caregivers. Care New England videos: Care New England has created a web page at carenewengland.org/coronavirus with continuously uploaded videos, related to the COVID-19 pandemic for the public’s and media’s viewing and professional use. The videos will include interviews with professional faculty, medical experts and hospital presidents.

Rhode Island Dahlia Society tuber sale: The club will not hold in-person meetings until it is deemed safe to do so, but the annual tuber sale is ongoing at rhodeislanddahliasociety.org.

Hands-on History: 10 a.m. uploaded from The Museum of Work & Culture.
