Kylie Jenner has certainly had an interesting time amid the pandemic. Like many celebrities, it appears that she’s struggled to abide by rules and regulations regarding travel to stop the spread of the coronavirus (COVID-19).

Fans have also been horrified that the Keeping Up with the Kardashians star has continued to showcase her lavish lifestyle and spending on social media while so many people worldwide are suffering.

However, her latest Kylie Skin product, hand sanitizer, has fans fully dragging her across the internet.

Fans think Kylie Jenner has been insensitive throughout the pandemic

At the beginning of the pandemic, Jenner was super vocal about quarantining and asking her fans to abide by the government’s regulations to stop the virus’s spread. She also revealed that she was used to being in the house since she didn’t go out when she was pregnant with her daughter, Stormi.

However, just a few months into the pandemic, the makeup mogul began traveling and partying with her family and friends. In June 2020, she vacationed at Amangiri, a five-star resort in Canyon Point, Utah, near an Indigenous reservation that was experiencing a devastating COVID-19 outbreak.

Jenner has also continued to flaunt her wealth amid this challenging time, purchasing a $35.6 million estate and showcasing her luxury items on social media.

“Yes it’s tacky and yes it’s absolutely tone-deaf, but guess what — she’s always been tacky and tone-deaf and her fans have never cared,” one Reddit user explained. “Her wealth-flaunting posts are getting just as much love as they always have. Why would she change her behavior when there is no tangible consequence?”

Kylie Jenner’s business ventures have been scrutinized

Not only is Jenner being called out for her travel and flaunting her wealth during these harrowing times, but fans also aren’t too thrilled about the quality of her products either. In May 2020, Forbes came forward to say that Jenner had been lying about her net worth. They revealed that she is not the self-made billionaire she’s been touted to be.

In fact, they claimed that she’s not a billionaire at all. It appears that she and her mother, Kris Jenner, had inflated the value of her beauty brand, Kylie Cosmetics. Fans also think the quality of her products leaves little to be desired.

Her $24 Foaming Face Wash from her Kylie Skin collection is coming under fire for turning from clear to a dark rust color just a few months after purchase. Chemist and makeup enthusiast Angie Burgs talked about the product’s issue on YouTube,

Usually, cleansers will last at least a year after opening. So, I personally don’t think that this product should have started to look like this within a year. Clearly, there is some discoloration, obviously it’s turning yellow. It could be due to oxidation occurring in the product or the product going rancid.

However, some Kylie Skin users have found that the discolored product is a great bathroom cleaner.

Kylie Jenner is being dragged because of her hand sanitizer

It looks like Jenner hasn’t learned from being tone-deaf. She is currently selling a new $7 hand sanitizer for Kylie Skin, and fans are disgusted. They believe the 23-year-old is attempting to profit off of the pandemic.

Jenner shared a tweet saying, “my @kylieskin hand sanitizer is here!! http://KYLIESKIN.COM 80% alcohol, fast drying, and formulated with glycerin to prevent dryness!”

Fans immediately clapped back. One fan quipped, “for 4 interest-free payments of 1.75, you could have your very own overpriced kylie sanitizer.” Another added, “kylie really made ‘kylie skin’ hand sanitizer? she’s profiting off a pandemic.”
