Two Men Attack, Rob Jewelry Vendor In Mission Valley

Two robbers made off with boxes of jewelry outside the Robbins Brothers jewelry store.

SAN DIEGO, CA -- Two robbers made off with boxes of jewelry outside the Robbins Brothers jewelry store in Mission Valley late Saturday, and they remained at large Sunday.

Soon after 7 p.m., a vendor had just left the store, located on Friars Road east of state Route 163, and was backing his car out of a parking space when a black, four-door sedan pulled up behind him and blocked him in, according to Officer Robert Heims of the San Diego Police Department.

Two suspects got out of the black sedan and approached the vendor with guns, demanding boxes of merchandise.
