Cara Delevingne opens up about 'authentic and natural' relationship with Ashley Benson

Cara Delevingne is opening up about her relationship with Ashley Benson.

The model and actress, 27, told Marie Claire things happened by chance after meeting the "Pretty Little Liars" actress, 29, on the set of "Her Smell" in 2018.

“We weren’t looking for it,” Delevingne said. "It was really just very authentic and natural.”

She's obsessed with Benson's dogs too, calling them "(expletive) adorable” with the “(expletive) calmest dispositions."

Delevingne also spoke about her sexuality, saying she spent several years trying to deny her queer identity.

"(I) didn’t want to feel different, even though from an early age I always felt I didn’t belong," she said.

Now, she's more comfortable talking about sexuality and sex.

“I’m not just talking about sex for sex," she noted. "I’m talking about experience, whether it’s abuse or confusion, positive or negative.”

In June, Delevingne also appeared to reference Benson during her Trevor Project Hero Award acceptance speech

“She’s one of the people who helped me love myself when I needed it most, and I really needed it," she said. "She showed me what real love is and showed me how to accept it, which was a lot harder than I thought."

Delevingne is best known for her role in the 2015 film "Paper Towns" and the 2017 film "Valerian and the City of a Thousand Planets."
