Tyler Flowers getting Wednesday afternoon off for Braves
Atlanta Braves catcher Tyler Flowers is not in the lineup Wednesday against the Toronto Blue Jays.
Flowers got the start behind the plate on Tuesday for the Braves, with Kurt Suzuki serving as the DH. However, Suzuki will enter the lineup at catcher on Wednesday afternoon, and Flowers is taking a seat. Suzuki is hitting fifth against left-hander J.A. Happ.
Our models project Flowers for a .255 batting average with 6 home runs, 20 runs scored, and 21 RBI over 180 plate appearances remaining this season.
