KayCee Johnson and Ryan Judd, Fargo, announce their engagement. Ryan proposed to KayCee during sunset on the Pacific Ocean beach on Coronado Island in California.
Parents are Mitch Johnson, Jamestown, N.D.; DeAnna McCoy, Ada, Minn.; and Marcy Judd, Granite Falls, Minn.
KayCee graduated in 2005 from Jamestown High School and she attended Minnesota State University Moorhead. She is a licensed practical nurse at Essentia Health, Fargo.
Ryan graduated in 1995 from Yellow Medicine East High School, Granite Falls, and in 1999 he graduated from Ridgewater College, Willmar, Minn., with a degree in wireless communications. He is a field technician for Ericsson, Fargo.
A May 10 wedding and reception are planned at the Avalon Events Center, Fargo.
