A Yucaipa woman was arrested at her home Friday, Nov. 8 on suspicion of taking sexually explicit photos of an underage girl.
Stefani Kasey Marie Stevens, 28, was charged with one count of producing child pornography.
Law enforcement agents executed search warrants at Stevens’ house in Yucaipa, federal prosecutors said.
During an interview, authorities said, Stevens admitted to using her phone to take sexually explicit images of the victim and later sent them to someone through the online messaging service Kik.
Agents seized Stevens’ phone, two tablets, a desktop computer and bedding that matched bedding in the explicit photographs, prosecutors said.
Stevens was booked into the Central Detention Center in San Bernardino.
She could face a maximum of 30 years years in federal prison if found guilty of charged filed against her.
