DALLAS—Dallas Market Center has announced two company promotions: Cole Daugherty has been named senior vice president, marketing communications and Amy cole daughtryGalindo has been named vice president, market services.

“Cole and Amy each bring a breadth of experience to their new positions, having served in multiple roles across the company with consistent success,” said Cindy Morris, COO, Dallas Market Center. “As we embark upon a series of new business initiatives, their strategic mindset will help the marketplace thrive.” In Daugherty’s new role, he will oversee content and creative for marketing communications including public relations, advertising, social media, graphic design, videography and copywriting. Galindo is responsible for travel, market services and international business development. “These are proven leaders who consistently inspire their colleagues and generate creative solutions,” said Eva Walsh, evp of marketing, Dallas Market Center. “Their passion for the business will help elevate the brand and deliver a superior market experience for loyal buyers and exhibitors.”

Over a twelve-year career at Dallas Market Center, Daugherty has served the marketing division and the lease administration division most recently as vice president of customer relations. Prior to joining Dallas Market Center, he served as account executive with Springbok Technologies, a Dallas-based public relations agency. He is also marketing co-chair for Gift for Life, the national gift and home industry charity raising funds for DIFFA, the Design Industry Foundation Fighting AIDS.

amy galindoGalindo has been with Dallas Market Center for seven years, first managing international business development and delivering a substantial increase in international buyer attendance. More recently, Galindo added Market Services to her responsibilities, driving growth for the Dallas Market Center travel department and increasing efficiency for market services. Prior to joining Dallas Market Center, Galindo served as a sales professional for Jan Barboglio, the Dallas-based luxury home furnishings collection, working with key retailers including Neiman Marcus.
