ST. PETERSBURG, FL — A suspect in a late-night shooting that killed two St. Pete residents was arrested Friday in Alachua County on unrelated drug charges, St. Pete Police said.

James Pagan, 29, reportedly drove away from the site of the homicides, 1738 Granville Court South in St. Pete, just after 11 p.m. Thursday, authorities said.

Detectives believe the slayings were domestic-related and said Pagan knew one of the victims.
