Over 1.5 million people have been tested statewide for the virus. Of the 115,862 Wisconsinites who have tested positive:

  • 82.4%, or 95,513, have "recovered," DHS reported, meaning either there is documented proof their symptoms have resolved or it's been 30 days since their diagnosis.
  • 19,050, or 16.4%, are considered "active," meaning they aren't recovered and haven't died.

As of Saturday afternoon, 574 people were hospitalized with COVID-19. Of those, 161 people were in the ICU, DHS reported. An additional 211 people were hospitalized and awaiting test results.

Global cases have surpassed 32.9 million as of mid-Sunday, according to Johns Hopkins University. More than 7 million of those cases and 204,000 deaths were in the United States.
