Even if you don’t have tickets to the big game, you can still get your Super Bowl on in a big league way with two fan fests in Miami-Dade.
One is a ticketed event being put on by the National Football League at the Miami Beach Convention Center, and the other is a free-and-open-to-the-public experience staged by the Miami Super Bowl Host Committee in downtown Miami’s Bayfront Park.
We break down the plays for you.
Super Bowl Experience
What: Think of this as a NFL theme park. Not only can you get autographs from gridiron greats, but there will be youth football clinics, interactive games, a NFL shop, memorabilia displays and Instagram opportunities (like with the Vince Lombardi Trophy).
And there will be the Bridgestone Fan Gallery, a row of international and national radio broadcasters and podcast producers where you can spot NFL players and VIP guests making the interview rounds. Fans with Super Bowl Experience tickets can access the gallery from 3-6 p.m. on Sunday, Jan. 26, Wednesday, Jan. 29 and Thursday, Jan. 30 as well as 10 a.m.-6 p.m. Friday, Jan. 31.
Other standout activities include a game where you compete against NFL players on LED screens in a 40-yard dash and vertical jump as well as a display with all 53 Super Bowl rings.
Also, a lot of attention has been paid to the art coming out of Miami, according to Nicki Ewell, director of NFL events.
“That’s something really at the heart of the community. We’re leaning into that. The art in Wynwood will be an inspiration. We’re applying the art to give people the look and feel of what it is to be in Miami.”
When: Jan. 25, 10 a.m.-10 p.m.; Jan. 26, 10 a.m.-8 p.m.; Jan. 29, 3 p.m.-8 p.m.; Jan. 30, 3 p.m.-10 p.m.; Jan. 31 and Feb. 1, 10 a.m.-10 p.m.
Where: Miami Beach Convention Center, 1901 Convention Center Dr., Miami Beach.
Cost: Tickets range from $20-$60 (the SBXTRA tickets for $50 and $60 get you priority access to the attractions). Children 12 and under are admitted for free.

Super Bowl LIVE
What: This is a week-long fan festival that celebrates Miami’s diverse cultures with a slate of concerts on two stages, including headliners such as indie pop/neo-soul band Fitz and the Tantrums and Caribbean music DJ/producer Walshy Fire performing at the Amphitheater. Best part? It’s free admission.
But it’s worth the time to take a look at the policies for this event, including a long list of prohibited items at NFL.com/super-bowl/event-info. Also, parking will be limited in this downtown area with street closures, so you might want to look into Metrorail and the Metromover.
In addition to the Amphitheater concerts:
Tailgate Town will have a culinary stage with cooking demonstrations, celebrity chef presentations, tailgating concessions.
Evening parades will take place Friday and Saturday, Jan. 31 and Feb. 1. On Friday the theme is “Miami’s Caribbean Carnival” with junkanoos, socca bands and steel drums. Saturday night it will be “Miami’s Latin Parade” with samba and capoeira dancers and batucada percussionists. Each night, the parades will be followed by a fireworks show.
The Huddle Down Community Stage will have bands, dance teams, visual arts performances and local school and youth performers.
Water Show on Biscayne Bay will feature watercraft stunts on jet skis, flyboards and water jetpacks. The shows will spotlight pro freestyler Chris Anyzeski.
Environmental Village will have displays and showcases explaining the environmental initiatives by the Miami Super Bowl Host Committee.
When: Jan. 25, 11 a.m.-11 p.m.; Jan. 26, 11 a.m.–9 p.m.; Jan. 27 and Jan. 28, 4 p.m.-9 p.m.; Jan. 30, 4 p.m.-11 p.m.; Jan. 31 and Feb. 1, 11 a.m.-11 p.m.
Where: Bayfront Park, 301 Biscayne Blvd., Miami.
Cost: Free
