People have spotted something really awkward about Kim Kardashian co-hosting SNL with Halsey

Kim Kardashian's SNL hosting gig has had a mixed reaction from fans. Some were really looking forward to her making her SNL debut, while others asked how she'd landed the gig since it's usually reserved for actors and singers (presumably they don't remember her 2011 single "Jam - Turn It Up"). However, after SNL posted a teaser for the upcoming episode, fans spotted something really awkward about Kim and Halsey hosting the show together.

The short promo video shows Halsey, Kim and SNL performer Cecily Strong announcing their upcoming gig and cracking a few jokes about the episode. In one moment Strong jokily suggests the trio forms a band - to which Halsey and Kim pull faces.

It's all very set-up-awkwardness, but over on Twitter fans were all making the same connection about the actual real-life awkwardness about Kim and Halsey appearing on the show together.

As you might remember Kim Kardashian has been involved in husband Kanye West's long-running feud with singer Taylor Swift; from leaked voicemails to tweets about "national snake day", Kim has been a pretty central part of the feud between Kanye and Taylor.

Well, as you may remember one of Taylor's good friends is none other than Kim's co-host Halsey. Yikes...

Pretty much as soon as the teaser landed people began discussing the awkward pairing on Twitter, with many of them remarking on how uncomfortable Halsey looked.
