0 New Coronavirus Cases For Third Straight Day In Princeton
This is the second time Princeton has seen three consecutive days with no new coronavirus cases in the last week and a half.
PRINCETON, NJ — Princeton Mayor Liz Lempert reported for the third straight day Princeton has had zero new positive coronavirus cases.
This is also the second time Princeton has seen three consecutive days with no new cases in the last week and a half.
Despite the positive news, Lempert urged residents to remain cautious and to continue to follow social distancing rules.

"The stay-at-home order is working," Lempert said. "With more things open on Memorial Day weekend we won't know the effects of that for another two or three weeks. I think we just need to continue to act in a way where we are cautious. We can never be sure that we are not a carrier or an asymptomatic carrier."

As of Tuesday Princeton has 170 total confirmed cases and 17 deaths. Of those positive cases 82 have recovered.
Of the positive cases 52 percent were women and 48 percent were men.
Mercer County has a total of 6,544 positive cases as of Tuesday.
