Auburn baseball coach Butch Thompson is hoping for a grand sellout this weekend as the Tigers host an NCAA Tournament regional for the first time since 2022.

Auburn (37-19) is the No. 14 overall seed in the tournament. The Auburn Regional starts with UCLA vs. Florida State on Friday (11 a.m. CT, ESPN2) followed by Auburn vs. Southeast Louisiana (6 p.m., ESPN+).

Thompson got his wish – Auburn's website says the regional is sold out as of Wednesday morning – but there are still ways to find tickets.

Auburn sells its tickets through AubTix.com, which is partnered with StubHub, a secondary ticket re-seller. Auburn's website recommends that fans monitor StubHub to find tickets to sold out games.

There is also a chance tickets become available the day of a game. All four participating teams are provided an allotment of 200 tickets for each of their games, but if any team does not use all 200, it can return the remaining ones to Auburn, at which point the leftover tickets will be made available to the public, an Auburn team spokesperson said. (UCLA and Florida State will not have an allotment for the game between Auburn and Southeast Louisiana, so there are only 400 team tickets per game.)

"Limited numbers of tickets may become available for purchase at the gates based on stadium capacity," according to Auburn's ticket page. "If any tickets become available, they will be sold in person at Plainsman Park on a first come, first serve basis around first pitch."

Capacity is 4,096. Auburn cannot go beyond that limit inside the stadium, but fans who are not ticketed to get inside are encouraged to find spots to watch, a team spokesperson said. One option is the parking deck overlooking Plainsman Park's left field line. There's also the Tiger Terrace area in left field where spectators can bring lawn chairs.
