Harry Potter fans are losing their minds over the fact that not only is Ron Weasley actor Rupert Grint in a relationship, but has been for the last seven years. And no-one seemed to notice.

A tweet went viral recently as fan Lydia Wood shared a photo of the actor with actress Georgia Groome (from Angus, Thongs and Perfect Snogging), writing: "I was today years old when I found out Georgia from Angus, thongs and perfect snogging has been going out with Ron Weasley since 2011????"

At the time of writing, Wood's tweet has over 20,000 likes and almost 5,000 retweets. Wood admits that she is surprised how many people didn't know this, considering the information is easily available via Google (and Wikipedia, of course).

Unlike other celebrities who post every detail about their personal lives on social media, Grint seemingly likes to keep his private life private.

The actor also recently admitted that he almost quit the Harry Potter franchise after The Goblet of Fire, and that he feels like people were waiting for him to "go off the rails" like other former child stars.

Georgia Groome appeared on Sunday Brunch last year, which caused everyone watching to get nostalgic for her mid-noughties British romantic comedy Angus, Thongs and Perfect Snogging.
