If you're in need of wireless, noise-cancelling headphones for your holiday travels or perhaps want to buy a pair for someone as a gift, this is a great time to go for it.

Deals Bug One of our favorite pairs Sony's WH-1000XM3 are currently $71.99 off at Amazon. They're normally $349.99, but you can grab them right now for just $278, and they're eligible for Prime shipping.

The WH-1000XM3 earned high marks in PCMag's review and praise for their "excellent audio performance," "high-quality noise cancellation," "plush, comfortable fit," and more. They earned our Editors' Choice award alongside the Bose QuietComfort 35 II, which are are also currently $70 off and eligible for Prime shipping.

"WH-1000XM3 headphones come out on top, with drivers that deliver excellent bass depth and high-frequency clarity, with in-app EQ to dial in your preferences if the sound signature is a bit too bass-heavy or bright for your taste," we wrote. "The ANC (active noise cancellation) is also fantastic, though Bose still has a slight edge there. Ultimately, the Sony WH-1000XM3 headphones are for those who place audio performance on a higher pedestal than noise cancellation."

When we reviewed them, our main gripe was their expensive price, but this deal makes them a lot more wallet friendly.

They work with Google Assistant and Amazon Alexa via Sony's Headphone Connect app, so you can stream music and phone calls hands free. Sony says they offer up to 30 hours of battery life, so you shouldn't have to worry about running out of juice during your morning commute or cross-country flight.

Don't miss your chance to snag these top-rated headphones for just $278.
