From concerts to festivals, here are 66 events still scheduled for Milwaukee's suburbs this summer

Yes, many beloved summer staples in the Milwaukee area have been canceled over coronavirus concerns. But not all of them. 

Here's a list of what's still happening in thsuburbs this summer.

These events still appeared to be scheduled at the time of publishing. Please check each event before attending in case plans have changed due to coronavirus. 

1. Pewaukee Kiwanis Beach Party: There will be food and beverages starting at 5 p.m. and a performance from Block Party starting at 7 p.m. Aug. 28. On Aug. 29, there will be a pancake breakfast, water activities with The Lake Country Clean Water Festival, a Robotics Club demonstration, kids activities with The Ricochettes, a 5 p.m. Pewaukee Lake Water Ski Club performance, and a 7 p.m. performance by Montage. 2. Friday Flicks: The free movie nights at Elm Grove Village Park, 13600 Juneau Blvd., start at 8:30 p.m. Screenings include “Frozen II" June 19, “Ralph Breaks the Internet” June 26, “Moana” (a “dive-in movie” showing at the park's pool) July 10, “Toy Story 4” (fourth annual Elm Grove Camp Out Movie) Aug. 1, “Playing With Fire” Aug. 7, and “Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse" Aug. 14. 3. Kapco's 'Live at the Lot': A drive-in concert series that ran on select dates in June in the parking lot of Kapco Metal Stamping, 1000 Badger Circle, Grafton, returns for seven dates from July 17-25, and features country singer Lee Brice, Summerfest favorite Phil Vassar and '90s alternative rock act Blessid Union of Souls. 4. Greenfield Farmers Market: Open 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Sundays from June 7 to Oct. 25 at Konkel Park, 5151 W. Layton Ave.

5. Maxwell Street Days: A flea market featuring vendors of crafts, produce, plants, tools, food and refreshments is open from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. June 13-14, July 18-19, Aug. 15-16 and Sept. 12-13 at Field Park, Highway NN and Highway 83, Mukwonago. For more info, visit maxwellstreetdays.net

6. The Root Beer Bash: The family-friendly festival features root beer-themed foods from local restaurants, games, family shows, a children’s petting zoo, and live music from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. Aug. 22 at The Richard E. 7. Hartland Chamber of Commerce Street Dance: There will be food, beverages and music at the Nixon Park band shell from 5 to 11 p.m. July 18. For updates, visit downtownhartland.com/events/hartland-street-dance

8. Moonlit Movies:Movies will be playing at dusk in Oconomowoc July 9 and Aug. 13, but the formats and locations of the events are to be determined. For updates, visit moonlitmovies.org

9. Classic Car Cruise Night: The cruise will start lining up at 5:45 p.m. June 18 at Maple Avenue Elementary School, W240N6059 Maple Ave., Sussex. The 12-mile cruise will start at 6 p.m. and will end on Main Street. There will not be a party or parking of vehicles at the Civic Center this year. For updates, visit bit.ly/classiccruise

10. Roll Out the Barrel Traveling Beer Garden Tour: The traveling beer garden featuring Sprecher beverages will stop at Doctors Park in Fox Point June 12-21, Grant Park in South Milwaukee June 24 through July 12, Lake Park in Milwaukee July 15 through Aug. 3, and Greenfield Park Aug. 5-23. The beer garden is open from 5 to 10 p.m. Monday through Friday, and 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. Saturday, Sunday and holidays. Last call is at 9 p.m. For more info, visit travelingbeergardens.com

11. West Allis Farmers Market: Open 1 to 6 p.m. Saturdays, and noon to 6 p.m. Tuesdays and Thursdays from May 9 through Nov. 28 at 6501 W. National Ave. 

12. RMHC Eastern Wisconsin Kidz-Palooza: There will be laser tag, bouncies and costumed characters from noon to 6 p.m. Aug. 15 at the Rotary Performance Pavilion, 1190 N. 70th St., Wauwatosa. Proceeds benefit the Ronald McDonald House Of Eastern Wisconsin. The event will follow strict COVID-19 guidelines, according to its Facebook page. Tickets are $15 and can be found at bit.ly/rmhckids

13. Stone Bank Lion's Festival: The fest is scheduled for 3 to 11 p.m. July 3 at Stone Bank Community Park, W335N7011 Stone Bank Road, Oconomowoc. Attendance will be limited and monitored, according to the event's Facebook page. Attendees are asked to bring their own lawn chairs to ensure social distancing. 14. The Franklin Beer Garden at Croatian Park: The beer garden, 9100 S. 76th St., Franklin, features Croatian Park Ale, Karlovacko (Croatian Beer), a selection of Wisconsin craft beers and domestic beers from MillerCoors, European foods, and live music from 5 to 10 p.m. Thursdays from June 9 through Sept. 17. 15. Delafield Farmers Market: Open 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturdays from May 2 to Oct. 24 (no market July 4) at the downtown municipal parking lot at Main St. and Dopkins St.

17. Waterfront Wednesday: Positively Pewaukee plans to start the concert series June 24 at the Pewaukee Lake beachfront, but a final decision has yet to be made. positivelypewaukee.com/events

18. Dousman Farmers Market: Open from 2 to 6 p.m. Wednesdays from May 20 through Oct. 21 at the Dousman Village Hall parking lot, 118 S. Main St. (across from the fire station).

19. Gift of Wings movie series: Films — including “Frozen II” June 13, “Toy Story 4” Aug. 1, and “Abominable” Sept. 19 — will be shown on screens in Greendale Gazebo Park, 5710 Broad St., Greendale. For more info, visit giftofwingslanding.com/movies.html

20. Bands at the Beach: The free Friday night concert series held at the Rhodee Memorial Band Shell on the shore of Lac La Belle at City Beach is still being planned to take place. For updates, visit bit.ly/buddysconcerts

21. Just Between Friends consignment event: Find children's and maternity items organized by size, gender and age June 22 through June 27 at the Forum Building at the Waukesha Expo Center, 1000 Northview Road. Tickets for June 22 are $10 and need to be purchased in advance. June 23-27 shopping times are free, but ticketed. Tickets and hours can be found at waukeshanorth.jbfsale.com

23. Diamond Days: A festival with food, drinks, music, carnival rides, and fireworks is scheduled for July 3-5 at Village Park in Eagle. For more information, visit bit.ly/diamonddayseagle

25. Freedom Music Series: Live music runs from noon to 3 p.m. June 6, 14, 20, 27, July 11 and 25, and Aug. 1 in the parking lot of House of Harley-Davidson, 6221 W. Layton Ave., Greenfield. Guests are to stay home if they have any COVID-19 symptoms, are to respect 6-feet social distancing recommendations, and wash their hands or use hand sanitizer. 27. The Oak Creek Beer Garden: The beer garden at Lake Vista Park, 4001 Lake Vista Parkway, features beer from Milwaukee-area craft brewers, live music, food and yard games. 28. Food Truck Friday: Two food trucks will be on the east side of the Terminal Building, 2525 Aviation Drive, Waukesha, from 11 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Fridays through Labor Day, except for July 3. 30. Hartland Kids Day: A “reverse" Hartland Kids Day event is being planned for July 29. Attendees will be able to watch performances from their cars as they move through a parade line and food is to be purchased in advance, according to the event's website. 37. Family Movie Series: A trio of Disney movies will be playing in Waukesha County. “Frozen II" will be showing at Nixon Park, 175 E. Port Washington Wine/Beer Run 5K: Participants receive a race T-shirt, souvenir glass, and a glass of wine or beer (or soda for under 21 runners) after the race, according to the event's Facebook page. The run goes from 9 to 11 a.m. Aug. 1. Run/walk tickets are $35 through July 12 and spectator tickets are $15 through July 1 online. Ticket prices will increase after those dates. "Back to the 90's" Bar Crawl: Bella Vue Events is hosting a "Back to the 90's" Bar Crawl" fundraiser in downtown Oconomowoc Aug. 22. Check in is from 5 to 7 p.m. at Breakshots Huba-Huba Bar & Grill, 105 S. Music on the Green: Performance are scheduled from 7 to 8:30 p.m. Saturdays from June 20 through Aug. 29 at Greendale Gazebo Park, 5798 Broad St. Attendees are to bring a lawn chair or blanket to sit on.
