Who is she?

Davie police say she pretended to be someone else to purchase $3,421 worth of merchandise from a cellphone store before driving away in a luxury SUV.

Detectives hope someone will recognize and identify the woman seen in a surveillance video that was recorded at a Verizon store at 2105 S. University Drive.

She is seen on video walking into the store Nov. 10 and then walking out with a large Verizon bag in her left hand. She drove away in a black SUV, possibly a Lexus LX with black rims, police said.

The woman is described as being slim with long, dark curly hair and a fair complexion. She was wearing a beige crew neck T-shirt and matching long-sleeve button-down thigh-length sweater or jacket, with blue jeans and sandals. She was also carrying a large brown handbag over her right shoulder in the video.

Investigators are asking anyone who recognizes her to call the Davie Police Department at 954-693-8200 or Broward Crime Stoppers, anonymously, at 954-493-8477 or go online to browardcrimestoppers.org.
