The groom is the son of the late Mr. Erastus Beverly Jones Doughton and Mrs. Erastus Beverly Jones Doughton of Hickory, NC. Miss Leslie Ann Ward, bride’s sister was the maid of honor. Bridesmaids were Mrs. Leila Doughton Hinkle, groom’s sister, Miss Amy Elizabeth Carlson, bride’s cousin and Miss Elizabeth Kendall Wright bride’s friend. Best man was Mr. David Francis Sachsenmaier, groom’s friend. Groomsmen were Mr. John Austin Hinkle, Jr. groom’s brother-in-law, Mr. Mark Bennett Johnson groom’s cousin. Mr. David Hill Scott, and Mr. Michael Denton O’Neil groom’s friends. Junior groomsman was John Austin Hinkle, III. Beadle was Mr. John Page, groom’s friend. Crucifer was Mr. Timothy David Carlson, bride’s cousin. After the reception at the Melrose Hotel, Dallas, TX the couple honeymooned in Belize. The bride is a Human Resources Manager for Neiman Marcus, Dallas, TX. The groom is an Associate Pastor for First Presbyterian Church, Columbus, GA.
