The deadline is quickly approaching to order Forest Preserve District of Will County 2020 dog park calendars for you and your canine-loving friends and family.

Calendars must be ordered online at willcountydogs.org by Sunday, Oct. 20. Each calendar costs $15, with approximately $10 from each sale going to benefit the Will County Humane Society. All orders will ship during the week of Nov. 25 to ensure receipt in time for the holidays.

The calendar features dozens of photos of dogs frolicking at the Forest Preserve District’s six dog parks, which are located in Crete Township, Homer Glen, Joliet, Naperville, Shorewood and Wilmington.

The calendar profiles some of the dogs who have overcome obstacles to find their forever homes thanks to the humane society, which has been serving the area for over 40 years. The agency receives no state or federal funding and relies entirely on donations.

Dog park patrons’ dogs also are profiled in the calendar, and they grace the lead pages for all 12 months and the calendar’s cover. Calendar cover page dogs are currently being revealed on the Forest Preserve District’s Facebook page, Facebook.com/WillCoForests.
