The identity of a 19-year-old man who died Monday afternoon following a shooting on the West Side was released Tuesday morning.

Two other people were injured in shootings on the West Side, according to police.

The man who died was identified as Willie Baker, of the 3900 block of West Crenshaw Street, according to the Cook County medical examiner’s office.

Baker was walking down the street about 2:20 p.m. around the 500 block of South Kostner Avenue in West Garfield Park when he was shot multiple times in the head and body, according to a police statement.

He was later found unresponsive on the sidewalk and was transported to Stroger Hospital, where he was pronounced dead.

No arrests have been made.

Two other men were shot about 4:50 p.m. Monday in the 300 block of North Sacramento Boulevard in East Garfield Park, according to a police statement.

An 18-year-old man was shot in the left hand and another bullet grazed his head, police said. The other man, a 21-year-old, was shot in both legs.

Both men were transported in serious condition to Mount Sinai Hospital.

Police were investigating both shootings.
