The Green Bay Packers are one win away from playing in their first Super Bowl in 10 seasons and they will face a man used to championship success, Tom Brady, and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in the NFC Championship Game at Lambeau Field.
The Packers have lost their last three NFC Championship Game appearances -- all on the road -- while the Buccaneers have not played in the NFC Championship decider since their eventual Super Bowl XXXVII triumph.
Green Bay won their seventh-straight game last week in their 32-18 home victory over the Los Angeles Rams in the divisional round. MVP favourite Aaron Rodgers went 23-of-36 for 296 passing yards and two touchdown throws and was not sacked despite facing the Rams' vaunted defensive line.
The running game was also strong with Aaron Jones, Jamaal Williams and AJ Dillon combining for 191 rushing yards.
Tampa Bay extended their winning streak to six games with an upset 30-20 win away to the New Orleans Saints.
Tom Brady -- playing in his 14th conference championship game -- was 18-of-33 for 199 passing yards and two touchdown passes. The Buccaneers were aided by four Saints turnovers -- including three interceptions of Drew Brees -- which led to 21 points.
In Week 6, the Buccaneers overturned a 10-point quarter-time deficit to thrash the Packers 38-10 at home with Rodgers intercepted twice.
However, Rodgers and the Packers are playing significantly better now, and they are also unlikely to gift Tampa Bay the turnovers that Brees and the Saints provided.

NFL AFC Championship Game - Kansas City Chiefs vs. Buffalo Bills (Monday 10:40am AEDT)
The Kansas City Chiefs are sweating on the availability of Patrick Mahomes with the reigning Super Bowl champions set to face the red-hot Buffalo Bills at Arrowhead Stadium in the AFC Championship Game.
Mahomes -- 21-of-30 for 255 passing yards and a touchdown throw last week -- suffered a concussion in the third quarter of the divisional round clash against the Cleveland Browns. Despite his absence, the Chiefs managed to hang on for a 22-17 home win.
Aside from the concern for Mahomes, the Chiefs once again gave their fans heart palpitations in the fourth quarter as Kansas City's last eight wins starting with their Week 9 victory over the Carolina Panthers have all been by single digits.
The Bills stretched their winning run to eight games with a 17-3 home triumph over the Baltimore Ravens last week. If it were not for the Kyler Murray 'Hail Mary' to DeAndre Hopkins in the Arizona Cardinals' 32-30 home victory in Week 10, the Bills would not have tasted defeat since Week 6.
The Ravens' Lamar Jackson -- 14-of-24 for 162 passing yards -- was sacked three times and threw an interception that was returned 101 yards for a touchdown by Taron Johnson.
Buffalo's defence did struggle to contain Philip Rivers in the wild card round when the Indianapolis Colts quarterback threw for 309 passing yards and two touchdown throws while avoiding a sack.
This game comes down to whether Mahomes plays and considering he is more likely than not, the Chiefs should just be able to defeat the success-starved Bills.
