Vice President Mike Pence has rescheduled his previously delayed trip to vote in Indianapolis to Friday. He also will campaign in Fort Wayne on Thursday.

Pence had been scheduled to vote at the City-County Building Oct. 10 but abruptly canceled the trip without explanation

IndyStar reported that Pence and his wife, Karen Pence, had requested absentee ballots by mail. Records show the Marion County clerk's office received Pence's request for his ballot Sept. 3 and the office mailed it Sept. 19.

It's unclear whether he will vote in person with those ballots or turn them in and vote on a machine.

Details of Pence's trip Thursday and Friday have not yet been announced, but he has a busy schedule this week with the reelection campaign.

He is in Pennsylvania on Monday, in Washington, D.C., on Tuesday for a coronavirus task force meeting and headed to New Hampshire and Cincinnati on Wednesday.  Thursday he will be in Michigan before heading to Fort Wayne.

He'll vote in Indianapolis on Friday before heading to Pittsburgh. Saturday, he'll be in Florida.
