Four of Huntsville's favorite things - food trucks, craft beer, live music and pets - will converge this weekend for a unique charitable event.

The "Frink & Donopt" food festival and pet adoption fair is scheduled for Sunday, April 12, from 1-5 p.m. in the parking lot of Interior Marketplace, 5732 U.S. 431 South, Brownsboro. From downtown Huntsville, take Governors Drive toward Hampton Cove. Interior Marketplace is on the right just past the Old Big Cove Road intersection.

Sponsored by The Marketplace Cafe and The Chef Next Door, Frink & Donopt is also a fundraiser for animal rescue groups.

All vendors have agreed to donate at least 20 percent of sale proceeds from the festival to the Greater Huntsville Humane Society, A New Leash on Life and Big Skies Lab Rescue.

If you go, bring a lawn chair. The band Liquid Caravan will be performing live.

Here's the lineup of vendors:

Brain Freeze Mobile Icecream with Rocket City Pops
Doctor BBQ food truck
Elegant Dance Company
Hampton Cove Animal Hospital
Hollywood Feed
HotBox HSV food truck
Iceworks Shaved Ice & Lemonade
Island Dog Training
Mullins Special Occasions bouncy castle
Straight to Ale craft beer
The Marketplace Cafe (Low Country boil)

Frink & Donopt is a word mashup that stands for food + drink and donate + adopt.
