William "Bill" S. Stratford

Hutchinson - William “Bill” S. Stratford, 73, of Hutchinson, Kansas, passed away November 28, 2020 at Hutchinson Regional Medical Center, Hutchinson, Kansas. Born December 22, 1946, in Montague, Massachusetts, he was the son of Dennis Alfred and Jeannette Bond Stratford. He was a retired welder for Krause Corporation of Hutchinson.

Bill was a devout Christian who loved to sing in the church choirs at numerous churches in Hutchinson, Kansas. He loved playing games with his family and telling “Dad” jokes. After retiring from Krause, he worked as a driver for Pizza Hut on 30th Street.

On June 17, 1972 he married the love of his life, Millie McCall in Salina, Kansas. She survives of the home.

Survivors include: 2 daughters, Marie Gail (Conja) Stratford recently of Kansas City, Missouri, Joy (Steven) Wright of Olathe, Kansas; 4 granddaughters and a great granddaughter.

Due to COVID 19 restrictions, the family will hold a celebration of life at a later date, however, the family implores everybody to follow COVID guidelines and wear a mask.

Arrangements are being handled by Old Mission – Heritage Funeral Home, 528 N. Main, Hutchinson, Kansas.
