B.I's Fans Post Hashtags And Support For Return To iKON

Following the news of B.I’s departure from iKON after his drug controversy, fans are continuously showing support for the former leader of the group.

Previously on June 12, YG Entertainment confirmed B.I departed from iKON and the agency. Upon the news, fans all over the world have been posting words of comfort and plea on social media.

On Twitter, fans posted hashtags like #김한빈_탈퇴하지마 (which means “Don’t leave, Kim Han Bin”), #HANBINSTAYWITHUS, #HANBINDONTLEAVEIKON and more to show support for B.I. They expressed their feelings about his departure with messages, such as “Come back when you want to come back,” “I can’t imagine iKON without seven members,” and “Don’t regret it and think again.”

Other fans have pleaded, “You seriously can’t leave like this,” “Protect my 6 years,” “Please give me some time, Han Bin. I’m begging you. Don’t do this,” and “iKON has 7 members, Han Bin.”

One fan posted, “No, you can’t go now. You’re my star and idol. What will I do if you leave? You were the one I watched to endure the hard times. What will I do if you go? You worked hard to become iKON and became iKON. You were once a genius composer who comforted sad people, so why are you becoming someone who understands sadness? I’m going to continue liking you.”

Another fan shared, “Han Bin, go watch ‘WIN: Who Is Next’ and ‘Mix & Match’ right now. [If I was you], I’d feel too regretful of my hard work to let go of iKON. Why is it so easy [to go]? Without you, the six members won’t have a smooth future.”

Fans have also created online petitions with one currently having over 500,000 signatures.

Meanwhile, iKON will be carrying out their Japanese tour as planned with six members.
