Dale Lee Karr

Dale Lee Karr, 71, of Fayetteville, passed from this life on Sunday, October 15, 2017 in Springdale. He was born on September 22, 1946 in Oark, Arkansas to Hoyt and Effie (Acord) Karr. On August 27, 1965 he married the love of his life, Ruth (Samuels) Karr. He was a great and loving husband, father and grandfather. He was also faithful member of Sonora Baptist Church where he was always willing to serve. He was also known to be an avid outdoorsman. Dale impacted many lives and will be missed by all who knew him. Dale is preceded in death by his parents, Hoyt and Effie Karr; nephews Christopher Karr, Aaron Madewell and Mark Mayes; and his daughter in law, Lisa Karr. Left to cherish Dale's memory are his wife, Ruth Karr of Fayetteville; sons Brian Karr and wife June of Springdale, and Gary Karr and wife Teresa of Elgin, South Carolina; sisters, Joyce Mayes and Darlene Madewell; a brother, Doyle Karr; and granddaughter, Lexi Karr. Visitation services will be from 6-8 p.m. on Tuesday at Sonora Baptist Church. Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. on Wednesday at Sonora Baptist Church.
