12 new COVID-19 cases reported in St. Louis County; 4 in Carlton County

The Minnesota Department of Health reported 12 new cases of COVID-19 in St. Louis County on Sunday

That brings the total number of new cases to 61 within the past week.

Carlton County reported four more cases. Three new cases were reported in Lake County, the most reported in that county on a single day. Two more cases were recorded in Itasca County. One new case was reported in Aitkin County.

The state also reported that three Minnesotans have died. None of those people were residents of the Northland.

The health department listed 715 newly reported cases statewide. The state also reported 251 are hospitalized due to COVID-19, 123 of which are hospitalized in an intensive care unit.

Douglas and Ashland counties reported new cases of COVID-19 according to the Wisconsin Department of Health Services. Douglas County reported four new cases and Ashland reported one new case.

There were 769 newly reported positive cases across the state in Wisconsin and no new deaths reported.
