Meet Banner and Thor, Peter and Seraphine, this week’s Pets of the Week.
Best buddies Thor and Banner need to be together
Behold, Thor and Banner. These two adorable cuties are described by their foster mom as just “the sweetest kittens!” They are playful and loving boys, age about 10 months. Thor has amazing dark stripes, and Banner has a white nose. They are so bonded and are the best buddies. They like to groom each other, cuddle up, wrestle together and watch the birds out the windows. They both love toys on a string and the laser light.
Thor likes soft balls and plays soccer throughout the house, while Banner carries his favorite stuffed toy around all day and then presents it to his foster mom when she’s in bed. Banner is more vocal and is usually the leader, except when unknown visitors come. That’s when Thor, who’s more quiet and confident, takes over to charm the visitors.
Both boys get the “zoomies” and run at top speed through the house, which makes for a great show. Adopt these boys and put the fun back into your life. Find the adoption application on the Lifeline for Pets website, where you’ll also find more adorable photos of Banner and Thor on the “Teen Cats” page. 626-676-9505. Peter, No. A503433, is as winning as his smile
Six-year-old Peter is such a well-rounded dog. He’s calm, relaxed and friendly, but he’s also active and walks well on a leash. He loves getting attention and especially loves belly rubs. Peter gets along well with people he’s just met and is curious and sweet around other dogs. Peter would love to join your family!
Through June 30, the adoption fee for big dogs (40-pounds and up) is $50 through Pasadena Humane’s “Big Dog Summer” adoption promotion. All dog adoptions include spay or neuter, microchip and age-appropriate vaccines.
New adopters will receive a complimentary health-and-wellness exam from VCA Animal Hospitals, as well as a goody bag filled with information about how to care for your pet.
View photos of adoptable pets and schedule an adoption appointment on the website. Adoptions are by appointment only, and new adoption appointments are available at 10 a.m. Sundays and Wednesdays. Pets may not be available for adoption and cannot be held for potential adopters by phone calls or email. pasadenahumane.org
Seraphine, No. A503116, is one-derful
One-year-old Seraphine has a big personality and would love to be the queen of your home. Seraphine often greets new people by rubbing up against their legs. Her love language is definitely play, so dangle a wand toy in front of her for a great bonding session. Seraphine would do best in a home where she gets lots of enrichment and has her own spots to watch over her queendom.
The adoption fee for cats is $100. All cat adoptions include spay or neuter, microchip and age-appropriate vaccines.
