WILMINGTON -- Club Golf Indoor is set to tee off at RiverLights with a Grand Opening Celebration from noon to 3 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 19, according to a news release from the company.

Test your golfing abilities in the closest to the pin challenge, practice your swing with a wide open driving range, and improve your accuracy with choices of different target golf games. The public can try simulators set on various games for patrons to try for free, complimentary chair massages from a licensed massage therapist, special giveaways, half-off draft beer and local bites from Magnolia Social Café.

Club Golf Indoor is a state-of-the-art indoor golf facility and sports bar that allows you to practice at golf courses across the world, the company said, with four Full Swing golf simulators delivering a real life "on the green" experience. The 2,700-square-foot venue also offers an inviting, urban design with comfortable seating, walls of glass, numerous TVs and a large, full-service bar made from reclaimed wood. Club Golf Indoor will soon feature a full menu for its patrons.

Patrons will have a chance to play on the world’s most legendary golf courses, enjoy a favorite beverage, and have food delivered from Magnolia Café or Smoke on the Water. Lessons, league and tournament play will also be available.

The Full Swing simulators at Club Golf Indoor – which are also found in the homes of many of the PGA's major champions like Jordan Spieth, Tiger Woods, Jason Day, Jim Furyk – utilize patented dual tracking technology to deliver a golfing experience that is almost identical to the real world, with critical, stroke-improving feedback available for those who are interested in learning more about their swing path, club head speed or the position of the club face at impact. Patrons are encouraged to bring their own clubs if desired or choose from a complimentary demo set available at the facility.

Club Golf Indoor was founded by Wilmington locals Tina and Tyler Eversole, who wanted to provide a virtual golf experience in a fun community environment.

“This is about more than just bringing Pebble Beach, Bay Hill and Torrey Pines to Wilmington,” said Tyler Eversole, co-founder of Club Golf Indoor. “It’s about creating a fun, welcoming environment where golfers of all ages can share in the love of the game, regardless of weather or time constraints.”

“With all of the rain we’ve had and many local courses having to close, Ty and I asked ourselves what the next best thing to playing golf outside could be,” said Tina Eversole. “This is the culmination of our dream — the result of many long hours of research and planning, and we are excited to share it with the Wilmington community.”
