Nashville SC handling positive COVID-19 case, extensive injury report internally

Nashville SC club officials began the postgame news conference Saturday by saying they would not acknowledge questions regarding one of its players testing positive this week for COVID-19 or accept inquires about its extensive injury list.  

The club announced Saturday morning a player tested positive earlier in the week and that it did not resume training until contact tracing was complete and its remaining players recorded consecutive negative tests. Nashville carried on to Foxborough, Massachusetts, for a 0-0 draw with the New England Revolution.
