ELBERTA, Utah County — A Goshen man who had been missing since last week was found dead in a remote area of Utah County Wednesday, authorities say.
A woman found the body of Edward Dale Reynolds, 68, about 5 p.m. while she was feeding horses a few miles south of Elberta in southwest Utah County, according to a news release from the Utah County Sheriff’s Department.
The man’s body was near some corrals at a property along Tunnel Road, the release states.
Reynolds had been missing since about 4 p.m. Thursday. Authorities searched for him for two days after finding the truck he was driving when he went missing several miles south of Elberta on Tuesday.
His body was found about five miles north of where the truck was located, according to the news release.
The body was taken to the state medical examiner’s office in Taylorsville, the news release states. His cause of death has not been released.
