Folcroft Police To Charge Parents Of Young Child Found By Himself At 7-Eleven
FOLCROFT, Pa. (CBS) -- Folcroft Borough police will charge the parents of a young child who was found by himself at a 7-Eleven a half-mile from his home. The 3-year-old boy was found at the convenience store on the 2000 block of Delmar Drive on Tuesday around noon after a concerned resident called 911.
Police say the parents will be charged with endangering the welfare of a child and reckless endangerment of children.
According to police, the mother called the station three hours after her son was found at the store.
Police say she was home with her husband while their four other children were at school.
The child and his four siblings are staying with a family member for the night.
